Background of the Tikapur Incident

In 2016, Tikapur, Nepal experienced a tragic event resulting in significant loss and suffering. Many individuals lost their lives, while numerous others sustained injuries. The severity of these injuries ranged from mild to severe, deeply affecting the victims and their families.

Challenges Faced by Victims and Families

The aftermath of the incident was marked by immense hardship. Many of those injured, as well as the families of the deceased, faced financial difficulties and were unable to afford medical treatment. The situation left these families in urgent need of assistance as they coped with both emotional and economic distress.

Tharus and Friends Association’s Financial Assistance

In response to this crisis, TFA stepped forward to offer support. The organization provided financial assistance totaling $5,346. This aid was directed toward families who lost loved ones and individuals who sustained injuries, helping to alleviate some of their immediate burdens during a challenging period.
