Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents along with their applications. All items except item #6 are required for every application. Item #6 is only necessary for those claiming disability, orphan, or former Kamaiya privileges.
- Marksheets or academic transcripts from the previous academic level
- Proof of enrollment or admission, such as a valid student ID card or a letter from the institution
- Personal statement
- Reference letter from a local ward office. Click here to download the letter template.
- Reference letter from a teacher or social worker. Click here to download the letter template.
- Proof if claiming disability, orphan status, or son/daughter of a Kamaiya family
- One passport-size photo
Please ensure that all documents and required information are collected before submitting your application. All documents must be scanned and uploaded with your online application.
Announcement of Selected Students
Scholarship recipients will be announced in 2026. Selected students will be notified through email as well as announcements on the TFA website and Facebook page.
Responsibilities of Scholarship Recipients
- Recipients must send an email to TFA describing how the scholarship has benefited them.
- Recipients must comply with all rules and policies of the scholarship program.
