Overview

Chet Narayan Chaudhary, who served as the treasurer and was a life member of the TFA, passed away while receiving medical treatment at a local hospital in Chicago, Illinois, USA, on April 23, 2021. He is survived by his wife and daughter.

Support for the Family

During this difficult period, TFA, along with several other Nepalese organizations, contributed to a GoFundMe fundraising campaign organized by Chet Narayan’s widow. Individual members of TFA made donations to the campaign, demonstrating their support and solidarity.

In addition to these personal contributions, TFA donated $1,000 from its existing fund directly to Chet Narayan’s widow to further assist the family.

Tribute

The TFA Executive Committee honored the memory of the late Chet Narayan Chaudhary during its meeting on April 25, 2021, by observing a one-minute silence in his respect. Their heartfelt tribute reflected the deep appreciation for his service and the sorrow felt by the community at his passing.
