TFA established scholarship program since its inception in 2007 and since then it has been providing scholarship to academically talent and financially weak students studying in 10+2 or higher level in Nepal. The scholarship amount is primarily based upon the availability of scholarship fund which is a voluntary collection of donation from the community members. Therefore, the exact amount may vary each year. In early years, we started with NRs. 15,000.00 to five students. Later, we were able to increase both the sum of award and number of students. For 2016/17 academic year, we were able to award NRs. 25,000.00 to 13 students. Of them, three were sponsored scholarships and were awarded to Kamaiya’s (bonded laborer) sons/daughters.
